Starting today will be my 3rd week involved with FreeSpeech TV. Last week I worked on capturing four tapes from the Lohas interviews, cutting them into individual segments, and creating DVDs. I also assisted Alexander and Jordan in the studio shooting Newswire as well as rearranging equipment and props in the studio. On Thursday Mark, Jordan and I went out and captured B-roll for the Newswire segment on unemployment. We traveled to the Colorado Department of Employment and a few other locations that expressed imagery of unemployment. We later captured and edited the footage down to 30 seconds, which was featured on Newswire. I have enjoyed working in both the studio as well as capturing B-roll. I feel that my knowledge of filmmaking is being used here at FreeSpeech and I have been learning more and more about media production.

My first post
This is my first blog post. I don't know quite what to say, but all the people I have asked said to just write what I have been doing. I have only been here for 2 going on three days. The majority of my time has been spent in the studio. I have helped Alexander move various cameras, lights, wires and background props. i have also been behind camera 1 in the studio for 2 shoots. Everyone has been really nice and helpful. Thanks for all the support.
